These Policy and Terms apply to the request, purchase, payment, personalization, issuance, delivery, receipt, transfer, verification, and redemption of the following Hypnosis Gift Vouchers:

  • CA$50 — A Moment to Breathe

  • CA$100 — A Meaningful Moment

  • CA$175 — The Gift of Transformation

  • Custom Amount — A Gift Made for You

By purchasing, receiving, transferring, presenting, or redeeming a Hypnosis Gift Voucher, the purchaser and recipient acknowledge these Policy and Terms.

1. Monetary-Value Voucher

Each voucher represents the Canadian-dollar value shown on the voucher and in the Clinic’s records. It may be applied toward an eligible hypnosis service provided directly by the Clinic.

The voucher names describe the gifting experience only. They do not guarantee a particular service, number of appointments, treatment plan, practitioner, result, acceptance, or future service price.

A voucher is a method of payment toward an eligible service. It is not itself an appointment or professional service.

2. Available Voucher Options

  • CA$50 — A Moment to Breathe: a CA$50 monetary credit.

  • CA$100 — A Meaningful Moment: a CA$100 monetary credit.

  • CA$175 — The Gift of Transformation: a CA$175 monetary credit.

  • Custom Amount — A Gift Made for You: a monetary credit in the Canadian-dollar amount selected and paid.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the voucher value does not include applicable HST and may not cover the full amount payable for a service.

3. Digital Voucher Only

Vouchers are issued exclusively in digital format. No physical voucher will be mailed or made available for pickup.

A purchaser may print the digital voucher for personal presentation, but printing, copying, photographing, forwarding, or sharing it does not create additional value or another right of redemption.

Validity and redemption status are determined by the Clinic’s records and unique voucher code. Each voucher may be redeemed only once.

4. Requesting a Voucher

The purchaser must select a voucher value and provide information reasonably required for preparation and delivery, which may include purchaser name and email, recipient name, sender name, optional message, and selected design.

The purchaser should not provide the recipient’s sensitive medical, psychological, psychiatric, or health information.

Submitting a request does not complete a purchase or create a valid voucher.

5. Invoice and Payment

A secure invoice will be emailed to the purchaser. The purchaser must review the voucher amount, names, email address, message, and other order details before paying.

The voucher will not be prepared, activated, issued, or delivered until full payment has been received and confirmed.

An unpaid invoice, quotation, screenshot, order request, draft voucher, or email discussing a purchase is not a valid voucher.

6. Preparation and Delivery

Once payment is confirmed, the personalized digital voucher will be prepared, assigned a unique code, recorded in the Clinic’s records, and emailed to the purchaser, ready to be shared with the recipient.

At the purchaser’s express request, the Clinic may email the voucher directly to the recipient.

The purchaser is responsible for accurate names, messages, and email addresses.

7. Processing Time

Please allow up to one business day after payment confirmation for preparation and delivery.

Orders received outside business hours, on weekends, or on statutory holidays may be processed on the next business day. Immediate or same-day delivery is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

8. Email Delivery

Delivery to the email address provided by the purchaser is considered delivery of the voucher.

The Clinic is not responsible for delay or non-delivery caused by an incorrect address, spam or security filters, a full or unavailable account, provider restrictions, internet problems, or technical issues outside its reasonable control.

When a purchase is verified, the Clinic may resend the voucher to a verified email address.

9. Personalization and Corrections

The purchaser is responsible for reviewing personalization details before payment.

The Clinic may correct a minor error after preparation when the correction does not materially change the voucher value, payment, purchaser, recipient, or purchase terms.

A change in voucher value may require a new invoice or transaction. A voucher cannot be altered after redemption.

10. Activation and Validity

A voucher becomes valid only after payment is confirmed, a unique code is assigned, the voucher is issued, and it is entered in the Clinic’s records.

The issue date is an administrative record, not an expiry date.

A voucher connected to a cancelled, reversed, disputed, fraudulent, or unauthorized payment may be suspended or cancelled.

11. No Expiry Date

Paid monetary-value vouchers do not expire. No inactivity, dormancy, maintenance, activation, or administrative fee will be deducted from the paid value.

Any optional customization or replacement fee must be disclosed before it is charged and must comply with applicable law.

12. HST

HST is not charged when a qualifying monetary-value voucher is purchased. Applicable HST is calculated when the voucher is used toward an eligible taxable service.

The voucher is applied as a method of payment after the service price and applicable HST are calculated. When the amount payable exceeds the voucher value, the recipient must pay the difference.

Example: for a CA$175 service plus 13% HST, the total is CA$197.75. A CA$175 voucher is applied and the recipient pays CA$22.75.

13. Booking and Verification

Appointments must be scheduled directly with the Clinic and are subject to availability.

The recipient should mention the voucher when booking and provide the unique code, recipient name, displayed value, and any information reasonably required to verify the purchase.

Possession of a voucher does not guarantee an immediate appointment, particular date, format, practitioner, acceptance, or suitability.

14. Eligible Services

Vouchers may be applied toward eligible hypnosis services provided directly by the Clinic.

Unless expressly authorized in writing, a voucher cannot be used for another voucher, a third-party product or service, cancellation or no-show fees, administrative charges, a previously completed or already-paid service, or a transaction prohibited by law.

A voucher cannot ordinarily be applied retroactively.

15. Single-Transaction Redemption

Each voucher is intended to be redeemed in full in one transaction toward one eligible hypnosis service.

It cannot ordinarily be divided between appointments, redeemed through multiple transactions, partially redeemed at the recipient’s request, reserved in portions, or redeemed more than once.

The recipient should select an eligible service whose total amount, including applicable HST, allows the full voucher value to be applied. When the total exceeds the voucher value, the recipient pays the difference.

Nothing in this section is intended to reduce paid value or remove a right that cannot legally be waived. Where applicable law requires preservation or different treatment of unused paid value, the Clinic will comply.

16. Service Prices

A voucher does not lock in a service price. Prices may change between purchase and redemption.

The amount applied is the original Canadian-dollar value shown on the valid voucher. The recipient is responsible for any amount exceeding that value.

17. Consultation, Intake, Consent and Suitability

Before receiving a service, the recipient may be required to complete a consultation, intake form, suitability assessment, informed-consent documentation, and other reasonable requirements.

Purchase, receipt, transfer, or presentation of a voucher does not waive those requirements or guarantee acceptance.

The recipient must personally and voluntarily consent. Except where legally authorized, the purchaser cannot consent for another adult.

The Clinic may decline, postpone, pause, or discontinue a service that is outside scope, unsuitable, unsafe, unsupported by sufficient information or consent, or inconsistent with legal, ethical, professional, safety, or business responsibilities.

18. When a Service Is Not Suitable

When the originally requested service is not appropriate, the Clinic may discuss another eligible service within scope.

When no eligible service can appropriately be provided, the Clinic may allow transfer of the unused voucher to another eligible recipient, subject to verification and these terms.

Exceptional handling of paid value will comply with applicable law. The purchaser is not entitled to confidential details concerning the recipient’s suitability assessment without valid consent or legal authorization.

19. No Cash Redemption

Vouchers cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, except where required by law. No cash change will ordinarily be provided.

A voucher cannot be used to obtain a cash advance, reimbursement, or payment to another person or business.

20. Refunds and Exchanges

Voucher purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law.

A voucher cannot ordinarily be returned for cash, exchanged for a lower-value voucher, partially refunded after redemption, or refunded because the purchaser or recipient changed their mind.

Nothing in this section limits a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

21. Transfer to Another Recipient

An unused voucher may be transferred before redemption unless expressly issued as non-transferable.

The Clinic may require written confirmation, proof of purchase, verification of the code, and updated recipient information.

A voucher cannot be transferred after redemption. The new recipient remains subject to all booking, intake, consent, and suitability requirements.

22. Lost, Deleted or Unauthorized Vouchers

Digital vouchers should be stored securely and treated like cash.

The Clinic is not responsible for vouchers lost, deleted, stolen, copied, forwarded, or used without authorization.

The Clinic may reissue a voucher when the purchase is verified, the voucher is unredeemed, payment remains valid, and there is no evidence of fraud. Reissuance does not create new value.

23. Fraud and Verification

The Clinic may request the voucher code, purchaser and recipient names, purchase date, value, payment confirmation, receipt, or original purchaser email.

A voucher may be temporarily declined during verification and may be suspended or cancelled if altered, duplicated, counterfeited, fraudulently obtained, already redeemed, linked to a dispute or chargeback, or not reasonably verifiable.

The Clinic’s records determine whether a voucher is active, suspended, cancelled, or redeemed.

24. Cancellation, Rescheduling and No-Shows

Appointments booked with a voucher remain subject to the Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy.

Unless expressly authorized, the voucher cannot be used to pay cancellation, late-cancellation, late-arrival, rescheduling, or no-show fees.

When an appointment is properly cancelled or rescheduled within the permitted period, the unredeemed voucher remains available for a future eligible booking.

25. Purchaser and Recipient Responsibilities

The purchaser is responsible for telling the recipient that the voucher is digital, booking is required, single-transaction use is intended, additional payment may be required, HST is calculated at redemption, prices may change, and suitability and Clinic policies apply.

The purchaser must not diagnose the recipient, describe the voucher as healthcare treatment, promise a result, state that the recipient has already been accepted, consent for another adult, or use the voucher as a substitute for regulated or emergency assistance.

The recipient is responsible for reviewing these terms before booking or redeeming.

26. No Professional Relationship Created

Requesting, purchasing, personalizing, paying for, receiving, delivering, forwarding, transferring, or holding a voucher does not create a practitioner-client, therapeutic, counselling, medical, psychological, psychotherapeutic, or other professional relationship.

A professional service relationship begins only after the recipient independently contacts or books with the Clinic, the Clinic agrees to consider or provide the service, required intake and suitability steps are completed, and valid consent is obtained.

27. No Guaranteed Results or Experiences

Voucher names, descriptions, designs, and promotional presentation do not promise relaxation, transformation, improvement, symptom reduction, goal achievement, or any other result.

Individual experiences vary. Testimonials, reviews, service descriptions, and client stories do not guarantee similar results.

Hypnosis services are not substitutes for regulated healthcare, counselling, crisis support, or emergency care.

28. Privacy and Confidentiality

The recipient’s privacy is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Purchasing a voucher does not give the purchaser access to information about whether the recipient contacted the Clinic, booked or attended, completed intake, participated in a service, or obtained any result.

The purchaser may receive information necessary to confirm purchase, payment, issuance, delivery, or voucher status, but not confidential service information.

29. Services for Minors

A voucher for a minor does not authorize the Clinic to provide a service. Any service for a minor remains subject to applicable law, Clinic policies, suitability, informed consent, and required parental or legal authorization.

30. Promotions and Other Vouchers

Unless expressly authorized, vouchers cannot be combined with promotional codes, complimentary offers, discounts, referral credits, another voucher, or another gift card.

A promotional or complimentary amount may have separate terms and no cash value. The paid value will not be reduced by expiry of a separate promotional benefit.

31. Changes to Services and Business Operations

The Clinic may change available services, names, prices, appointment durations, hours, location, online platforms, booking procedures, payment methods, or practitioner availability.

These changes will not reduce the original paid value of a valid voucher. A voucher may be applied only toward eligible services available at redemption.

32. Relationship with Other Policies

These terms should be read together with the Disclaimer, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy, and applicable intake and consent documents.

These terms govern voucher operations. The Disclaimer governs the nature, scope, suitability, and limitations of hypnosis services. The more specific policy governs the subject it addresses.

33. Changes to These Terms

The Clinic may update these terms for future administrative and booking procedures. An update will not reduce paid value, impose a retroactive expiry date, or remove a right that cannot legally be waived.

34. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to mandatory legal requirements.

35. Contact Information

Questions may be directed to Inner Healing Hypnosis Clinic Inc., www.innerhealinghypnosis.ca, hello@innerhealinghypnosis.ca, or +1 (416) 587-9800. Sensitive health information should not be included in a general voucher inquiry.
