These Terms & Conditions govern use of the website and services of Inner Healing Hypnosis Clinic Inc. (the “Clinic”).
By using the website, contacting the Clinic, booking or attending a consultation or session, purchasing a package or Hypnosis Gift Voucher, or using Clinic materials, an individual agrees to the applicable provisions of these Terms and the related Clinic policies.
1. About the Clinic
The Clinic offers complementary hypnosis-based wellness services in person in Guelph, Ontario, and online, depending on availability and suitability.
2. Nature and Scope of Services
Services are intended to support wellness goals such as relaxation, stress management, emotional balance, confidence, self-development, habit change, motivation, and personal growth.
Services are not substitutes for regulated medical, psychological, psychotherapeutic, psychiatric, crisis, emergency, legal, or financial services. The Clinic does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical or mental health conditions.
3. Voluntary Participation, Information and Consent
Participation is voluntary. Clients must provide accurate and complete information relevant to safe and appropriate participation and must complete required intake and informed-consent procedures.
The Clinic may refuse, postpone, pause, or discontinue a service where it is outside scope, unsuitable, unsafe, unpaid, unsupported by sufficient information or consent, or inconsistent with legal, ethical, professional, safety, or business responsibilities.
4. Booking and Appointment Confirmation
Appointments may be requested through the website, approved booking platform, email, telephone, text message, WhatsApp, or another approved method.
An appointment is confirmed only when confirmation is issued by the Clinic or its booking system. Clients are responsible for accurate contact information.
5. Free Consultation
The Clinic may offer a free consultation, including a 20-minute consultation, to discuss goals, answer general questions, and consider whether a service may be suitable.
A free consultation is informational and does not guarantee acceptance, create a regulated healthcare relationship, or guarantee a future appointment. The Clinic may modify or discontinue free consultations.
6. Fees, Payment and HST
Fees are stated in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated and may appear on the website, booking page, invoice, or other Clinic communication.
Payment may be required at booking, before the service, or at the appointment. Applicable HST is added where required.
The Clinic may update prices for future purchases. A confirmed booking will generally be honoured at the confirmed price unless there is a clear error or the client agrees to a change.
7. Cancellation, Rescheduling, Late Arrival and Refunds
Appointments and refund requests are governed by the separate Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy.
Clients are generally required to provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations, no-shows, and arrivals more than 20 minutes late may result in a fee equal to 25% of the scheduled service price, subject to the detailed Policy and applicable law.
8. Hypnosis Gift Vouchers
Hypnosis Gift Vouchers are exclusively digital monetary-value vouchers governed by the separate Hypnosis Gift Voucher Policy & Terms.
The dedicated voucher policy governs purchase, payment, personalization, issuance, delivery, transfer, verification, redemption, HST treatment, single-transaction use, suitability, and related restrictions.
9. Packages, Promotions and Special Offers
Packages, promotions, and special offers are subject to availability and any terms disclosed at purchase or booking.
They cannot be combined with other discounts, packages, promotions, Gift Vouchers, or special pricing unless expressly stated.
10. Online Sessions
Clients attending online are responsible for suitable technology, a stable connection, privacy, a safe environment, and freedom from interruption.
Clients must not participate while driving, operating machinery, cooking, supervising a child or dependent requiring active attention, or performing an activity requiring alertness.
11. Website Information
Website content is provided for general informational, educational, and marketing purposes and is not medical, psychological, psychotherapeutic, psychiatric, legal, financial, tax, accounting, crisis, or emergency advice.
The Clinic may update or remove website content, but changes will not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content, text, graphics, images, logos, designs, videos, audio materials, downloads, service descriptions, scripts, and written materials are owned by or licensed to the Clinic.
They may be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless prior written permission is given. Users must not copy, republish, sell, sublicense, modify, distribute, scrape, or commercially exploit Clinic content or use the Clinic’s name or branding in a manner suggesting unauthorized endorsement or affiliation.
13. Acceptable Website Use
Users must use the website lawfully and must not disrupt the website, interfere with another user, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, collect information without authorization, impersonate another person, or misrepresent their identity or intentions.
The Clinic may restrict access where misuse is reasonably suspected.
14. Third-Party Services
The website and Clinic operations may use third-party platforms for booking, payment, email, video conferencing, analytics, maps, social media, and other functions.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The Clinic is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
15. Privacy and Electronic Communications
Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy.
By providing contact information, an individual authorizes the Clinic to respond through the supplied communication channels. Non-essential communications may be declined, while appointment, payment, safety, legal, and service-related communications may still be sent when necessary.
16. Testimonials and Reviews
Testimonials and reviews reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee results.
Material submitted directly to the Clinic for promotional use will be used only with appropriate permission. The Clinic will not publish identifying information beyond the permission provided.
17. No Guarantee of Results
Experiences and outcomes vary. The Clinic does not guarantee a particular result, improvement, symptom reduction, behaviour change, emotional change, personal transformation, or number of sessions.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Clinic and its owner, practitioners, employees, contractors, and representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from website use, inability to access the website, third-party platforms, reliance on website information, participation in services, technical issues, unauthorized electronic access outside reasonable control, or outcomes differing from expectations.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability or legal rights where limitation is not permitted.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, a user is responsible for losses or claims arising from unlawful misuse of the website, infringement of another person’s rights, intentional misconduct, or a material breach of these Terms.
20. Relationship with Other Policies
These Terms should be read together with the Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy, Hypnosis Gift Voucher Policy & Terms, and applicable intake, consent, package, invoice, or booking terms.
The more specific policy governs the subject it addresses.
21. Changes to These Terms
The Clinic may update these Terms for future website use, bookings, and purchases. The current version will be posted with an updated revision date.
Changes will not retroactively remove or reduce rights that cannot legally be waived.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory legal requirement.
